LMCU Hires Mark Sigmund as Mortgage Loan Originator in Florida


Tampa, MI. (December 7, 2022) – Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is happy to announce the hiring of Mark Sigmund as a mortgage loan officer for Central Florida.

Sigmund graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in social sciences and economics. He has worked in the mortgage business since 1986, and with over 35 years of experience, he enjoys helping those he works with get the right financing package for their needs. As a mortgage loan officer, Sigmund specializes in numerous different loan types including non-warrantable condo loans, jumbo loans, first-time home buyer loans, and loans for medical workers, nurses, police officers, teachers, and first responders.

LMCU’s Vice President of Regional Mortgage Production, Nakia Garcia, is confident in Sigmund’s skillsets and values his work ethic. “Mark has been in the industry many years, but the passion he has for the work he does is undeniable,” Garcia said. “He is tenacious. He never gives up, and he will do whatever he can to help his clients.”
