Lake Michigan Credit Union community raises $75,000 for kids’ care

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Every year, the Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) community bands together to raise money for kids’ care. This year represents the seventh year that LMCU has organized its Band Together campaign, encouraging members and staff members throughout Michigan and Florida to donate any amount to support kids’ care in their local communities.

Altogether during this year’s campaign, LMCU raised $75,000. Lake Michigan Credit Union is honored to have so many members and employees step up in support of our little heroes.

LMCU’s Community Relations Manager, Alexis Reame, said, “We are so grateful for the ongoing generosity and support of our members, community, and staff during this annual campaign. The funds raised support our hospital partners’ pediatric programs that are focused on providing the best care to our communities’ little heroes and their families. Banding together for kids’ care in our local communities is something that touches all of us in some way and we are fortunate to have this annual campaign receive so much member support.”

More than a dozen different hospitals throughout Michigan and Florida will each receive a portion of the donations, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting programs at: Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Mercy Health, Metro Health, Holland Hospital, Ascension Borgess Hospital, Bronson Children’s Hospital, Covenant HealthCare, Beaumont Children’s, A Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, University of Michigan – C.S.
