Lake Michigan Credit Union Hires Kimberly Stephens as Mortgage Loan Originator for Lansing Area Office

GRAND RAPIDS, MI. (April 3, 2018) – Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to welcome Kimberly Stephens to its team as a mortgage loan originator for its Lansing/Okemos, Michigan mortgage office. She reports directly to Michael Thomas, LMCU’s Vice President of Regional Mortgage Production-Lansing.

Stephens attended the University of South Dakota and has since gained 15 years of experience as a mortgage lending professional. She worked for Charter Funding and Wells Fargo prior to joining LMCU. Stephens is a member of the Mid-Michigan Lenders Association (MMLA) and the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) of Lansing, earning 2017 Strategic Partner of the Year honors.

Stephens is excited to join LMCU’s new Lansing area mortgage office. “I love that LMCU is a credit union that really gives back to its members. As part of a military family, Stephens was originally born in Japan, raised in South Dakota, but now calls the west side of Lansing home.
