Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is proud to celebrate the recent opening of its Cape Coral Del Prado branch with an upcoming ribbon cutting event to be held at the new branch, located at 521 Del Prado Blvd S in Cape Coral, Florida.
The ribbon cutting will be held on November 14, from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. More than just a celebration, the event will give LMCU an opportunity to thank Cape Coral community members for their support, as the credit union owes its continued growth across Southwest Florida to the positive reception they’ve received from lifelong Floridians and transplants from LMCU’s home state of Michigan alike.
As such, the general public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting, as are local business owners and Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral members.
The event will also include a check presentation to the Donate4Kidz Foundation, an organization that provides basic necessities, toys, school supplies, and more to Southwest Florida children in the foster system. For every new account opened at the credit union’s new Del Prado branch before November 15, LMCU will donate $10 to Donate4Kidz.
LMCU’s Cape Coral Del Prado Branch Manager, Monica Avila, is excited for the opportunity.
“It means a lot to be able to open our second branch here in Cape Coral, to better serve the community that has welcomed us so warmly,” Avila said. “And not only do we get to celebrate this milestone with that community, but we also get to give back in a meaningful way. There really are so many reasons to celebrate.”
