Who we are
At LMCU, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve through donations, sponsorships and volunteerism. As an organization, we focus the majority of our community engagement efforts on ensuring equitable access for all to learn and succeed, health related services, and a path to home ownership or other affordable housing options.
Community outreach has been embedded in our culture since we opened our doors in 1933. Whether through volunteerism, philanthropy, sponsorships or other forms of community engagement, it has been important to be a catalyst for change and growth in the communities we serve. We are proud of our commitment to giving back and the impact our employees make in their communities. View our yearly Community Impact Report at the link below to learn more.
From tellers to mortgage loan officers, LMCU team members receive a paid day off to volunteer in their local community each year. Our employee efforts have contributed to thousands of volunteer hours served and an impact that spans even further.
Lloyd F. Hutt Scholarship
For over 30 years, we’ve offered an annual scholarship essay contest for high school seniors, honoring the legacy of Lloyd F. Hutt – teacher and founder of LMCU.
Each year we provide several opportunities for our members to give back or participate in our giving efforts.
