Remote Deposit Capture FAQs

Remote Deposit Capture allows your business to deposit checks electronically by scanning them with a scanner or phone and securely transmit the images to your LMCU account.

You can scan and deposit checks at any time and will often be processed the same business day. Cut-off times will apply.

Your account will come with a daily deposit limit, but we will work with you to choose a customized daily limit that fits your needs. Get in touch with our Treasury Management team to set up Remote Deposit Capture and find a limit that’s right for you.

Just in case of transaction errors, we recommend that you retain your original hard-copy checks for a minimum of 90 days. After that, you can dispose of them by shredding, or using another secure method.

Your business is in good company.
