How can I use my Max Rewards points?

Every time you use your Max Rewards card, you’ll automatically earn points.
You’ll earn 3 points per $1 spent on gas and EV charging, 2 points per $1 spent at grocery stores, and 1 point per $1 spent on everything else. Max Rewards Visa Signature cardholders also earn 2 points per $1 spent at restaurants.
Points can then be redeemed for cash back and other rewards.
No, there’s no limit to the total number of points you can earn!
The only limit applies to the “3 points per $1 spent on gas and EV charging.” You can only earn 3 points per $1 spent for the first $500 spent on gas and EV charging each calendar month.
After that, gas and EV charging purchases earn 1 point per $1 spent.
Grocery and “everything else” points are unlimited.
Checking your points is quick and easy. You can find your balance on your monthly credit card statement, or at any point in LMCU Online Banking or our mobile app by clicking or tapping the “Rewards” link.

Or, if you want to get cash back, you can redeem it in 5,000-point increments (5,000 points = $50). Cash back can be deposited directly into an eligible account or applied to a loan balance. Cash back can be redeemed through Online Banking, our mobile app, at your nearest branch, or by calling Card Services at (800) 242-9790 x9737.
Pay with Points is a redemption option that lets you directly spend your points like money to make eligible purchases. When Pay with Points is available, you’ll get an email or text message offer. Then, you can choose to redeem points for a statement credit toward that purchase. Eligible purchases include certain daily expenses, gas, groceries, and retail purchases between $25 and $250.
Yes, points expire five (5) years after the date they were issued, at the end of that month.
