LMCU’s Band Together Campaign Returns to Raise Money for Pediatric Care

Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is excited to announce the return of its annual Band Together campaign. During the month of August, LMCU staff, members, and their communities band together to raise funds in support of pediatric and kids’ care programs at 16 hospitals across Michigan and Florida. Between August 1–31, anyone can donate at any LMCU branch or online at LMCU.org/BandTogether, with LMCU matching up to $15,000 of the total donations.

Last year, LMCU’s Band Together campaign raised over $83,000 for to help kids get well sooner, with the credit union planning to top that number before the month ends.

“A donation to Band Together is about more than just giving money,” said Matt Cook, LMCU’s Vice President of Community Relations. “It means sending a lot of hope to our communities’ littlest heroes —and hope goes a long way. That’s why we emphasize how every dollar counts, because the life-changing care these hospitals provide for kids and their families is truly priceless.”

In past years, these donations have helped fund patient activities and buy medical equipment, like thermometers and positioning aids. When a donation is made to Band Together, the funds will be sent to the nearest hospital from this list:
