Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce its Spring Shred Day event series, offering Florida residents a free and convenient way to safely dispose of sensitive personal documents. Events will be held at LMCU branch locations across the state from April 11 through May 16, 2026.
LMCU has partnered with Safeguard and A1 Shredding to bring on-site shredding trucks and staff to each location. No membership is required to participate. Anyone is welcome to pull up and shred. Events will be held at the following locations:
- Saturday, April 11 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Port Charlotte Branch, 2120 Kings Highway, Port Charlotte
- Saturday, April 18 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Gulf Coast Branch, 17830 Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy, Fort Myers
- Saturday, May 2 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Valrico Branch, 3467 Lithia Pinecrest Rd, Valrico
- Saturday, May 2 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Collier Branch, 8635 Collier Blvd, Naples
- Saturday, May 9 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Lakeland Branch, 439 Florida Ave S, Lakeland
- Saturday, May 16 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Temple Terrace Branch, 5140 E Fowler Ave, Tampa
- Saturday, May 16 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Cape Coral Parkway Branch, 530 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral
