Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce its Spring Shred Day event series, offering Michigan residents a free and convenient way to safely dispose of sensitive personal documents. Events will be held at LMCU branch locations across the state from April 18 through May 30, 2026.
LMCU has partnered with West Michigan Shredding to bring on-site shredding trucks and staff to each location. No membership is required to participate. Anyone is welcome to pull up and shred. Events will be held at the following locations:
- Saturday, April 18 | 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. — LMCU Ballpark, 4500 W River Dr NE, Comstock Park
- Saturday, April 25 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Greenville Branch, 2001 W Washington St, Greenville
- Saturday, April 25 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Zeeland Branch, 8630 E Main St, Zeeland
- Saturday, May 9 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Farmington Hills Branch, 34391 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills
- Saturday, May 9 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Portage Branch, 4084 West Centre Ave, Portage
- Saturday, May 16 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Robbins Road Branch, 16916 Robbins Rd, Grand Haven
- Saturday, May 30 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Traverse City Branch, 3650 U.S. 31 S, Traverse City
