Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is proud to bring back its Band Together fundraising drive for 2026. Each August, LMCU calls upon its staff, members, and neighbors to “band together” to raise money for life-changing pediatric and kids’ care programs at 18 hospitals across the credit union’s Michigan and Florida communities. All month long, interested donors can contribute to this good cause at any of LMCU’s 75 branches or online at LMCU.org/BandTogether. LMCU will also match the first $15,000 donated.
For several years now, LMCU’s Band Together campaign has raised more money than the year prior. With 2025 seeing an impressive $91,000 raised for happier, healthier kids, LMCU has set 2026’s fundraising goal at $95,000.
“When it comes to Band Together, we want to make one thing clear: every dollar can change a life,” said Matt Cook, LMCU’s Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility. “Past donations have helped fund everything from medical equipment and diagnostic tools to enhanced patient comfort and activities that keep kids engaged throughout their treatment. No donation is too small for our communities’ littlest heroes!”
LMCU sends all Band Together donations to a hospital near the donor. This year’s partnered hospitals are:
