Refer a FriendLake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce its Fall Shred Day event series, offering Michigan residents a free and convenient way to safely dispose of sensitive personal documents. Events will be held at LMCU branch locations across the state from August 22 through September 19, 2026. LMCU has partnered with West Michigan Shredding to bring on-site shredding trucks and staff to each location. No membership is required to participate. Anyone is welcome to pull up and shred. Events will be held at the following locations:
- Saturday, August 22 | 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. — LMCU Ballpark, 4500 W River Dr NE, Comstock Park
- Saturday, August 29 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Rochester Hills Branch, 310 W Tienken Rd, Rochester Hills
- Saturday, August 29 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Gull Road Branch, 3326 Gull Rd, Kalamazoo
- Saturday, September 12 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Troy Branch, 734 West Long Lake Rd, Troy
- Saturday, September 12 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — West Main Branch, 6170 West Main St, Kalamazoo
- Saturday, September 19 | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. — Norton Shores Branch, 1619 Mount Garfield Rd, Muskegon
