Business Member Checking FAQs

It’s easy: just keep $100 or more in your account, and you’ll earn interest each month at a rate of 0.25% APY!

We try to keep this simple, too: there’s no minimum balance required to open a Business Member Savings account, but you need to keep up a daily balance of $300 or more to avoid paying a $5 monthly fee.

Additionally, if your business isn’t already an LMCU member, we will require a one-time, $5 membership fee.

Any business looking for a dedicated place to start building its reserves could benefit from a business savings account. These reserves can prepare your business for unexpected expenses, stay organized, and plan for future growth without impacting your everyday cash flow.

Business checking accounts are built for daily transactions like payments and expenses, while a savings account is designed to hold funds you don’t need right away.

Here at LMCU, both our business checking accounts and savings accounts are secure, flexible places to keep your business’s money, but our checking accounts prioritize ease of access through checks and debit cards, while accounts like our Business Member Savings account make it easier to earn interest.

Let’s get started.
