Eligibility
LMCU considers capital donation requests from eligible organizations seeking support for a defined capital project or campaign that will create a meaningful and lasting community impact in the areas we serve.
Requests should align with at least one of our funding priorities:
- Education
- Health and wellbeing
- Housing
- Economic Inclusion
LMCU does not provide capital donations for:
- Projects benefiting an individual rather than a community or organization
- Third-party fundraising efforts or benefits
Guidance
Capital donation requests generally involve a building, facility, renovation, expansion, equipment investment, or another defined long-term project. If you are seeking support for an event or ongoing program, please use the Sponsorship or Donations request form instead.
Before beginning the form, have the following information ready:
- Your organization’s contact information, website, and EIN
- A clear description of the capital project
- The project’s total budget and the amount requested from LMCU
- The funding deadline and anticipated project timeline
- The communities or populations the project will serve
- The expected long-term community impact
- Information about additional funding partners or financial institutions
- Available recognition opportunities
- A funding proposal, project packet, or supporting documents
